AGM - ALL CHANGE!!!

Granville Tunnicliffe-Wilson as "Valet de Cham" in Ruddigore

25 members attended a lively and good humoured AGM last night to elect new officers to the committee and choose our 2014 Production. Granville Tunnicliffe-Wilson retired as Chairman after 4 years loyal service. He was noted for his "calmness under fire" and for numerous character roles, shown here in the 2012 production of Ruddigore.

CHALLENGE OF MAKING US LOOK GOOD HELPS MAKE-UP ARTIST TO SUCCEED!

Anna Huxam, one of the Morecambe girls who was our lead make-up artist, has  been successful in gaining a student place in London. She said her part in supporting us was a massive help at her interview, and the fact that she could show off her Gondoliers work in a portfolio. She sends a big thank you for giving her the chance.

"congratulations must go to Sandra Bamber for producing such an excellent show, which began when the curtains opened to reveal 3 independently set vignettes. The set had been designed by Sandra and it really brought the Piazzetta, Venice to Hornby. It had the nice little touch of adding a 'Bistro" where Annibale the owner served his guests brandishing an oversized pepper mill.
